Fraser Wright is General Manager for Melbourne Jet Base. He has extensive experience in the aviation engineering & maintenance field.
He commenced his career as an Aircraft Engineer at Air New Zealand in 2000, and spent the following six years in the role, before changing direction and moving into the Maintenance Operations Centre as a Maintenance Operations Planner.
In 2009 Fraser moved to Melbourne where he worked as a Maintenance Coordinator at John Holland Aviation Services. The following year he advanced to the role of Duty Manager/Customer Operations Planner at John Holland Aviation Services.
Fraser moved north to Brisbane International Airport in 2011 and worked for Strategic Engineering as GM Aircraft Maintenance and in 2012 as a Senior Project Engineer at Air360 on the Gold Coast. During this role, he consulted with a number of leading companies to ensure maintenance was being carried out on their aircraft correctly.
Fraser was instrumental to the founding of Melbourne Aviation Precinct and continues to function as the linchpin of the Melbourne Jet Base operations team.
